I knew this session would be special because it was my first engagement shoot and first session downtown (other than goofing around with my mom and Kyle :)).  What made it even more special was seeing the love between Angela and Andy and how much his precious kids adore both of them!  I think I'll let the photos do the talking on this one. :)

Can you believe this is MY boyfriend?  Yeah....me neither. :)

Last weekend we were headed out for a date night and Kyle let me snap a few quick shots of him along the way.  The resulting images are stunning!  No surprise there. :)

Little Big Man Turns 1!

I have so enjoyed watching this precious little guy grow up over the past year....watching Kelli's blog, he seems to get cuter and more curious with each passing day!  For Reese's one-year photos, we revisited the Knoxville Botanical Gardens where we did Kelli's maternity photo session oh-so-long ago (see above) - my, how time flies!  In between discovering Reese's newfound love of balloons and continued contempt for wearing hats (this made for some hilarious outtakes!), we captured a lot of precious moments on this beautiful fall day!

Photo of the Week - Whoa, momma!

This week's photo of the week is dedicated to my sweet mom, who is always willing to serve as a guinea pig for practicing my hand at portraits.  She's a natural!  We had dinner downtown a few nights ago and she let me snap a few shots.  Thanks to my model, they were all beautiful but the one below is my favorite - sassy!

Reese's Pieces!

My sweet friend, Kelli, is a major supporter of my efforts in photography and I'm couldn't be happier because I love doing shoots of her little cutie pie Reese!  Below are a few shots from his 3-month and 6-month sessions - you may be able to tell, but he is known for his intense stares. :)  He seems to get cuter every day and I can't wait to see how much he has grown at 9-months!

UT Photography Ceremony

SPRING!!!

Wow, it's hard to believe I have yet to make a post for 2011! After the Christmas card shoot, it got pretty chilly and stayed that way. Kyle and I made a brave attempt at some night shots in late fall but it was so frigid I could hardly stay still enough to snap the shot. Brr!

Finally Spring has sprung and I will have a lot to post soon, starting with Reese's 3 & 6 month sessions (sneak peek above)! I am also working on a portfolio for my photography certificate ceremony so I will have some new series to post for that as well. Exciting stuff to come!
